What happens when Christians actually read the bible? They see God more clearly through his word. They see Jesus throughout scripture and in their day to day life. They get united with other Christ followers reading the same passages. They get clear Spiritual vision. Peter put it like this in the very first sermon of the church:

“And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams…”

Acts 2:17

Members from the Lansing Area Church of Christ, the DeKalb Church of Christ, and Fort Wayne Church of Christ will be contributing daily video and devotional content as we read the bible cover to cover together in the year 2020. Our sermons will come from the text each week and as many parts of church life as possible will be integrated with our bible reading.
