2 Corinthians 10-13

Paul is writing to the church in Corinth.  He is concerned about his own apostolic status.  There were some trouble makers in the church, challenging his authority.

My KEY VERSE:. 12:7-10, “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.  Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.  But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

This calls me to change my view of my weaknesses.  To see them as God sees them.

I will draw nearer to God when I feel weak, to gain His strength.

Crown of thorns – Jesus.
